Magdalene Carson is a graphic artist based in Ottawa who has specialized in book and publication design for the past twenty-five years. Since her youth, she has pursued art as a means to enhance life in society. She completed a three-year program in creating art for public at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Curiosity and passion about ideas, cultures, and all things human has taken her down many sideroads; for example, she has traveled widely, from the Orkney Islands to Egypt and from Cuba to India, and has participated in a number of social and political projects. Magdalene feels that this combined experience has lent her the insight to connect with the unique story of each author and find its expression in a fitting design solution.
